How it plays
If you can play cards, you can play this
Four players race to be the first to finish a hand. Here is how a turn goes.
Pick your goal
The card shows eight winning combinations of tiles, like a full house in poker. Choose one to collect.
Draw one, toss one
On your turn, take a tile from the pile and discard one you don’t need.
Grab what you need
Someone tossed the tile you were waiting on? Speak up and it’s yours.

Finish your hand and shout it. Then shuffle and go again.
Every rule is printed on two cards that sit on the table, so nobody has to memorize anything.

Every winning hand has a name
A hand is just the set of tiles you’re trying to collect. Each one is drawn in pictures on the card, so you match what you see. Start with Bouquet. Save Storm Chaser for when you’re feeling lucky.

Where it comes from
A little history
Mahjong began in China in the 1800s. When it came to the United States in the 1920s, players here developed their own way to play, and American mahjong grew into a tradition of its own around kitchen tables. EasyMahj is our way of bringing more people into the game.

Do I need to know how to play?
No. We built it for people who have never touched a tile.
How long does a game take?
About 30 minutes. Your first game may run a little longer while everyone learns the tiles.
Do I need a new card every year?
No. Our eight hands stay the same, so the cards in the box are all you’ll ever need.
When will my set ship?
Every First Edition set ships by November 24, in time for Hanukkah (starts December 4) and Christmas. We’ll email you tracking as soon as yours is on the way.
How much is shipping?
Nothing. Shipping anywhere in the US is included in the price. We can’t ship outside the US yet.
Can I cancel or return it?
Because this is a small preorder run, all sales are final. If your set arrives damaged or defective, email hello@easymahj.com within 14 days and we’ll replace it.
